DISCIPLESHIP COUNSELING CLASSES
Discipleship counseling was developed by Dr. Neil Anderson when he called on God for answers to why his congregation had problems that he could not help them with. He knew that Christ is the answer for hurting people in a fallen world, and he believed that biblical truth could set them free, but he did not see that happen in the lives of the people he served. This is the same testimony many Pastors saw in their churches across the country. God walked Neil through the process and showed him biblical answers for believers who want to live free in Christ and be productive in their spiritual growth.
Neil defines discipleship as the process of building into one another the life of Christ, and discipleship counseling is leading another person into an encounter with God, where they can resolve their personal and spiritual conflicts. Once these conflicts are resolved, most people can grow in their walk with God.
The Lion of Judah Disciple Counseling Center will offer The Victory over the Darkness, Bondage Breaker, and the Freedom in Christ classes in the future. The dates will be posted on this website.
