The Holy Bible is the inspired, immutable, steadfast, unchangeable, and inerrant Word of God.
We believe that the Bible is God’s revelation to mankind and is the inspired Word of God. The Word of God is eternal and our final authority for faith and conduct.
(Numbers 23:16-19) (John 1:1-14) (II Timothy 3:15-17)
God Exists in Three Persons.
We believe in one God, infinitely perfect in all of His attributes, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
(Deuteronomy 6:4-5) (Matthew 28:19-20) (Mark 12:28-31) (I John 5:7)
Virgin Birth of Christ.
We believe that God the Son was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a Virgin.
(Isaiah 7:14) (Matthew 1:18-23)
Deity of Christ.
We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true man, fully divine and also fully human. Jesus is God incarnate and was manifest in human flesh. He was like us in all ways except for one: being free from sin. (Isaiah 9:6-7) (John 1:1-14) (John 5:22-23) (John 8:54-58) (John 10:30)
Christ Died for Our Sins.
We believe in the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross so that we might live, offering Himself up as the Perfect Sacrifice for sinful man.
(Romans 5:6-10) (I Thessalonians 5:9-10)
Bodily Resurrection and Ascension of Christ.
We believe that Christ is the risen Savior. We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried in a borrowed tomb, and after three days He rose from the dead.
(Acts 1:8-11) (Romans 8:31-35)
State of Mankind.
We believe we were created in the image of God by a definite act of God through His divine will. The first man, Adam, sinned and fell from his moral perfection and brought upon himself and the whole human race the penalty for sin, which is spiritual and physical death. No one can rescue himself or herself from the penalty of death without a Savior.
(Genesis 1:26, 27; 2:7; Romans 2:6 – 16; 5:12 – 21; 6:23; Matthew 5:20 – 48; John 3:36)
Salvation By Grace.
We believe salvation from the penalty of sin comes by grace. This is a free gift from God, given to all who will believe and trust in His Son Jesus, the Christ, and accept Him as their Savior and Lord of their life.
(Matthew 16:21-26) (John 3:16-19) (John 14:6) (Acts 4:12) (Romans 10:9-13)
The Holy Spirit.
We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person. He was sent from the Father by the Son to convict the world of sin, to regenerate and indwell those who trust in Christ, to baptize them into Christ, to seal them for redemption, to guide them into truth, to fill them with His presence for a life of holiness and victory and to empower them to witness and good works. We believe He empowers spiritual gifts to believers for the proper functioning of the church.
(Acts 5:3, 4; John 16: 7 – 14; 3:5 – 8; I Corinthians 2:9 – 12; 3:16; 12:3 – 13)
Water Baptism.
We believe that all believers should undergo water baptism by immersion as a demonstration of faith and in obedience to the commandment of our Lord. This act represents a commitment by the believer. Water baptism is an outward sign of spiritual identification with death, burial, and resurrection.
(Matthew 28:18-20) (Mark 1:4-11)
Bodily Resurrection of the Saints.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saints to eternal life.
(Isaiah 26:19) (Daniel 12:1-3) (Matthew 22:30-32) (Mark 12:25-27)
Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 24:1-44) (John 14:1-3) (Acts 1:9-11) (I Corinthians 15:20-24)
Christian Marriage.
As a Christian entity, we will abide by Matthew 19:4-6 which said …” he (Jesus) replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female, andsaid, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So, they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate,” as the standard we follow to identify a husband and a wife as only males and females who are so from birth. Therefore, we will only perform weddings where the couples are male and female. We reserve the right to refuse these services to those who do not meet this criterion. Gen 2:24; Romans 7:2-3; Genesis 1:26-27.
